With 14 years of experience in the computer industry, Marc has worked in Microsoft's Digital Media Group and for Online Video Services, a leading Internet broadcasting company. The four pillars of digital media that will be discussed are: 1. Recording - Hear about best practices for optimizing video and audio for Internet delivery during recording 2. Media Capture and Compression - Learn the basic principles of how a codec works, the difference between encoding and transcoding, and the difference between formats like Flash, Windows Media, QuickTime, Real, and H.264 3.
