Tuesday, May 16th, 6:30 PM Dark shadows? Brighten the corner where you are? Light up your life? Corny catchphrases aside, lighting is one of the most important elements of a shoot. Even natural light often needs to be amplified and controlled to get everything just right. Overwhelmingly, DVD is the presentation medium of choice of the 21st century. Our main speaker, Dave Hall of Davideo Multimedia, will discuss lighting for DVD and other nuances of the art and craft of illumination. He will also demo a lighting kit and answer audience questions. In addition, The Light House, a leading supplier in the northeast, will give a tour of their famous facility, and North Jersey Executive Board member Bill Kronemyer will present a demo as well. The Light House has a large studio with a DVD player and a 42-inch plasma screen. If you've ever been involved with lighting, wish to be - or have even just gotten lit! - this important and useful meeting will shed some light on a subtle but important new part of our professional life.
