Advances in keying technology permit affordable, professional-quality keying to reach a wide audience of media professionals. Using some of the most advanced keying products, this meeting will cover provide a first-hand demonstration of professional keying tips and techniques. You’ll learn how decisions about lighting, backgrounds, cameras, and software are combined to produce clean keys and virtual sets.

Our guide will be Christopher Putnam, East Coast Sales Representative, Serious Magic, a leading manufacturer of keying technology for both broadcast professionals and business presenters. Chris’s demo will show how the broadcast product, ULTRA, transforms chroma keying into an easy and practical tool for all types of video producers. Create highly realistic background composites that are convincing in every detail, even from marginal video sources. The technology is designed to overcome keying nightmares, such as uneven lighting, wrinkled backdrops and frizzy hair.

We’ll also see how ULTRA's automatic VirtualTrak system creates virtual camera moves from stationary camera shots and can even insert reflections into virtual scenes. One stationary camera can create the illusion of multiple cameras moving in spacious studio environments.

Serious Magic also offers a comprehensive library of virtual sets that take full advantage of VirtualTrak, including multiple angles, virtual flying camera shots, and places to insert additional video sources or graphics.

If you’re interested in how chroma keying can spice up your video presentations and hold viewer interest, this product demo and keying tutorial is not to be missed.
