Apple's Next Generation Media Creation Tools:
QuickTime 6, MPEG 4, OS X: Panther, G5
Should a new Apple be under your Christmas tree? Nick Floro, President
of
Sealworks, Inc., an interactive developer of digital solutions for
delivery
on the web, CD and digital devices, will cover a lot of ground in this
demo-based meeting.
QuickTime 6
Learn about the latest version of QuickTime for Windows and Macintosh why
QuickTime will allow you to distribute to more platforms without
re-inventing the wheel each time.
We'll cover the latest compression technologies, discuss Internet
streaming options, tour the QuickTime Player's authoring features, learn
how to access advanced QuickTime effects and interactivity functions, and
learn about the exciting new MPEG 4 standard. We'll also provide an
overview of QuickTime Virtual Reality. Learn how to shoot QT scenes,
create objects with 3D applications, add sound and interactivity, and
incorporate nodes into Web and interactive applications.
OS X: Making the Switch!
Learn about Panther, the next generation of OS X. The OS X platform
combines the rock-solid reliability of UNIX with the ease of use of
Macintosh. Whether you're a Mac user who's upgrading, a Windows user who's
looking at switching to the Mac, or a UNIX user who wants to use key
applications like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft
Office, Final Cut, and DVD Studio Pro, this will help you decide if Apple
really offers more..
Power Macintosh G5!
Apple's Power Mac G5 is a revolutionary 64-bit desktop system designed to
meet the high-performance, no-compromise requirements of the creative
professional. With advanced 64-bit computing, the industry's fastest
frontside bus, a high-bandwidth architecture, and plenty of high-speed
memory--the Power Mac G5 outperforms even the fastest Pentium 4-based
desktops.
Nick has over 15 years of experience producing projects for The Wall
Street
Journal, Merrill Lynch, Johnson & Johnson, McGraw-Hill, Barron's,
Prince,
and The Wharton School. Nick also teaches numerous workshops at MacWorld,
QuickTime Live and special events on interactive development.
