The Princeton Media Communications Association (PMCA), Central New Jersey's premier organization for video and electronic media professionals, is pleased to announce an exciting slate of meetings for the 2002 - 2003 season.

We're particularly pleased to have booked one of the most prominent video experts in the business for our first meeting: Larry Thorpe, Senior Vice President, Content Creation Systems Broadcast & Production Systems Division, Sony Electronics Inc. Larry has business responsibility for all of Sony's broadcast-quality studio and portable cameras in the United States, (including HDTV).

A frequent keynote speaker at large industry conventions costing hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, Mr. Thorpe is regarded as an HDTV pioneer. His presentation is entitled The Future of Video: Content Creation Imperatives and Options in the Emerging Digital Age. For anyone interested in television, e-cinema, or non-broadcast video production, this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to "get up close and personal" with a true industry leader.

As a PMCA member, you receive a reduced rate for all meetings, however, we welcome all interested parties to our monthly meetings. Our goal is to promote a lively dialog between our members, the public, and prominent industry leaders.

Additional Information

Princeton Media Communication Association is an organization that promotes the media arts and industry in New Jersey. We do this through an ongoing series of information and social events that highlight developments in our industry, from the technical to the esoteric.

Whether you are a media professional, student or kindred spirit, PMCA offers a variety of real and practical benefits.

Find out more by visiting our website: www.movingimage.org.

If these meetings sound intriguing, now would be a good time to join PMCA. And our board is always looking for people who are excited about their video or electronic media profession and want to help us make the organization successful and rewarding.
