In the world of audio post-production, there are many devices and platforms.
But one has attained a pre-eminent status-Pro Tools from Digidesign Inc. Used throughout the recording industry, Pro Tools is also the predominant tool in audio for video, film and animation.

At this month's meeting, Robert Miller of Digidesign will venture down from New York to provide a private demo the latest and greatest version of the platform, Pro Tools|HD. In addition to the demo, Chris Orazi, an Emmy award winning sound designer who uses Pro Tools, will talk about the creative techniques he uses when creating music and soundtracks for visual media.

Chris will show and some projects that illustrate interesting creative approaches to film and video scoring and sound effects and discuss the techniques used. Chris's work is heard in theatrical features, broadcast television, interactive media, and in museums. His corporate clients include Merck & Co, Johnson & Johnson, Astra Zeneca, Vanguard and BMW.

Also available at the meeting are a limited supply of Flash books Macromedia
for the incredible price of only $10.
