Directions to the Meeting

It's time again for our annual computer graphics film show, featuring the latest and greatest computer animations direct from the ACM SIGGRAPH conference held this summer in San Diego.

Our speaker this year, Jeff Posdamer, has presented talks on computer graphics for our chapter many times over the past 12 years. Jeff will be showing some of the latest and greatest of the computer generated animated films that were shown at recent ACM/SIGGRAPH computer graphics conferences.

Jeff will show a variety of technologies: scientific visualization graphics, commercial graphics used in television and movies, and some examples of current computer graphics research. The films include everything from state-of-the-art supercomputer technology to graphics that can be done with today’s personal computers. Come see why this is the best attended meeting we have all year.

Instead of our usual premeeting dinner, we will have Pre-Show Networking and Events starting at 7 PM:

· Free Refreshments - coffee, soda, munchies
· Free Raffle – our popular give-away of a plethora of computer / graphics equipment, books, and supplies
· Silent Auction - hot gear and materials to benefit the David Sarnoff Library, our kind host
· Poster/Demo Sessions - informal exhibits of graphics work being done in our area, from academic / student to corporate / scientific. If you are interested in exhibiting, please send email to princetonacm@acm.org.

This meeting is open to the public. Students and their parents are welcome. There is no admission charge, and refreshments are served.
